Community Service

WJC aims to influence students towards positive citizenship. A period of Community Service must be done by all students in their second year of the 3 year Associates Program.

• 15 hours of work in the second semester of year 2
• Students may work in groups or individually
• Students will fill in the form “Application to do Community Service” available from the Counselor’s Office
• Students will identify an area of service and get approval from the Dean before commencing any work
• A portfolio of service done must be presented at the end of the service
• Students are encouraged to consider doing their community service on Campus in an effort to improve the environment for the WC/WJC community
